The task board visualizes your tasks, allowing you to organize and connect them flexibly and intuitively.

Each task is represented with a card with:

  • A title
  • A start connector (shown as a circle on the left side)
    • which can be clicked to complete a task
    • which can be dragged to an end connector of another task
  • An end connector (shown as a circle on the right side) that can be used to link tasks together by dragging to the other start connector
  • A border around the card that you can resize
  • You can move a task around by dragging the task.
  • Card labels

You can also right click on a task to perform multiple actions, for more information see Task Context Menu.

  • Click or tap a card to select a card (hold down shift to select multiple)
  • Click/touch and hold to drag a card or a selection of cards
  • Click and drag from a connector to another card to create a link
    • This can be done from multiple selected cards, or towards a multiple selected cards.
    • If starting from an end connector, those cards will be consider to be before (or blocking) the tasks that will be connected to it.
    • If starting from a start connector, those cards will be considered to be after (or blocked by) the tasks that will be connected to it.
  • Double click on a card to edit a card
  • Right click on a card will provide you with a menu of options.
  • Click on card label will allow you to edit it.

You can right-click on a link between cards to directly delete the connection. When multiple links are selected you can use this to delete multiple links at the same time.

By holding down shift (or control or meta) you can add or remove multiple cards to your selection by clicking on them. This is also possible for the links between cards.

You can also draw a selection rectangle by holding shift and dragging on the map.

Clicking on the map will cancel any selection you have.

When multiple cards are selected you can drag all of them around.

When you have multiple cards selected you can move them as a group but also create multiple connections at once.

Select multiple cards, then drag a connection by holding down the mouse/touch on the connector (the circles at the end of the card) and dragging them to another one. If you drag from a card within the selection, then all cards in the selection will attempt to connect to the destination. If you drag a connection from an unselected card to any of the cards that are selected you the unselected card will attempt to connect to all cards in the selection.
